At higher rpms your mustangs coolant pressure and temperature fight for control of your stock thermostat keeping it from opening at its designed temperature, but this high flow thermostat is designed to resist large variations in coolant pressures to open at the correct temperature regardless of engine rpm.

      Quality Construction. This 180 degree High Flow thermostat features an all brass and copper construction for reliable long life.

      Fitment. Designed to fit the 1979 to 1995 5.0L/5.8L V8 and 1982 through 1995 V6 Mustangs, this High Performance Thermostat will keep your pony running cooler.
