Justin: The SpeedForm 8-inch antenna here will be a great option for all 2005 to 2009 Mustang owners out there who are looking to ditch that goofy factory ski pole antenna and clean up the look by going with the much shorter option. Now, this extremely popular five-star rated antenna is going to run you about 10 to 15 bucks here on the site while the install itself is easy enough for my toddler to complete. So, therefore, we will call it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, maybe five minutes of your time as we'll show you later in the video. So let's just dive right into things here with this rather simple product. And, again, what we are looking at here today, guys, is SpeedForm's option, 8 inches in length overall, which according to most of our customer reviews on the product page, is still good enough to maintain most of your terrestrial radio stations without issue while at the same time making a massive improvement in regards to your appearance. And that's, obviously, the big draw here. Now, if you live out in the country and maybe your radio reception is a bit spotty to begin with, you might want to consider going with SpeedForm's 14-inch option instead. Still going to clean up the appearance a little bit by essentially cutting the length of your factory antenna in half, but at the same time you are getting a little bit more material which in turn should help deliver a slightly better reception. Now as far as your construction is concerned here, guys, well, let's be honest, it's an antenna so not a ton to talk about. Instead, you are getting a very durable steel construction or build that's going to be finished off in satin black powder coat, which will be both scratch and weather resistant and not fade on you over the years. Quick heads up here, guys, SpeedForm does also offer the exact same thing on the site but in a bright chrome finish instead. It's going to double the price tag of the black option here, but it is available in both 8 and 14-inch options on the site. Last but not least, guys, we do want to show you what it takes to get the 8-inch antenna installed. Again, certainly not brain surgery here, so quick and painless job and to prove it to you, here is Joe with that detailed walkthrough along with a quick tool breakdown. Joe: The tool used for this install was a three-eighths inch wrench. First step to this install is going to be to remove your factory antenna. You can do this with a three-eighths wrench and just use it like a bolt. The final step of this install is to screw in your new antenna. And that's going to wrap up this review and install of the SpeedForm 8-inch Black Antenna for your Mustang. Thanks for watching and for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.
