What's going on, guys? I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and today, I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown of the Blue Carbon Fiber Dash Kit fitting your 2010 through 2014 Mustang. So in this video, I'm gonna talk about who this kit's gonna appeal to, the materials and construction that went into this, what you should expect to be spending. And then we're gonna take a look at the installation where I'm gonna be giving this a pretty solid one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and about an hour to get this onto your car.So the kit that I have here today should definitely appeal to a couple different types of Mustang owners out there. First and foremost, in my opinion, I think it's gonna be for the guys that are definitely looking to make a very massive statement in the interior. Secondly, it's gonna be for the owners out there that are looking to cover up some war wounds and maybe some deterioration on your dash from over the years of exposure to the elements. So right off the bat, I wanna mention that this kit's definitely gonna be blue. So if that's not your thing, we've got a slew of other options on the site. That's gonna range from a red carbon fiber to a honeycomb look, to a standard carbon fiber weave. At the end of the day, it's really gonna come down to how you are looking to personalize your Mustang inside as well as out.I definitely think for the Kona Blue or Grabber Blue owners out there, that this definitely is gonna appeal to you guys as you picked up a blue car and you like blue at the end of the day. As I did say, if blue isn't your thing, we've got a ton of different options on site here. But for the blue owners out there that are looking to incorporate a little bit more of a pop inside of your car, as well as maybe tie it in together with some blue accents on the outside. That can range from either blue hash marks or Lamont stripes, I think it's gonna be great for you guys.So at the end of the day, it's really gonna come down to how you're looking to personalize your car, as it's really gonna be an extension of your personality. So, either way, you're gonna be looking, you're gonna be incorporating a ton of modern flair into your car if that's the look that you're gonna be after. So in terms of the construction and materials here there's a ton of different types of vinyl out there. And primarily, here at American Muscle, we're gonna use a 4-mil cast vinyl. Now, that's gonna be that much more tough as well as durable than say a calendared type of vinyl, which is gonna be great for either in or out of your Mustang. Now, another great feature about this is that, this is gonna feature an air-release technology on the adhesive side, which for you, that essentially means that you're not gonna have to worry about fighting this to get it into place onto your car.So in terms of the pricing here, you should expect to be spending only about 130 bucks for this kit, which in my opinion for a vinyl kit, might be a little bit on the higher side for some people. But at the end of the day, you're gonna be adding a ton of customization into your interior. And again, you're gonna breaking up the monotony of just having a pretty plain inside look. Now again, if this isn't gonna be something you're looking to spend for a vinyl overlay kit, there's a slew of other options that we have available at the AM site, ranging from any type of brushed or a chrome trim as well as other types of vinyl accents. So switching gears to the installation portion of the video, just like I had said at the top, you're gonna be looking at a pretty solid one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter and about an hour's worth of work to get this onto your car. Now if you've never installed any type of vinyl either in or out of your car and you're just not comfortable with doing it, there's absolutely zero shame with taking this down to either a body shop or your dealer to have this installed. But at the end of the day, it's really gonna be as easy as peeling off a sticker and putting it onto your car, but with a little bit more layer, that's gonna be involved. So let's take a closer look.So looking ahead, a couple of things I'd make sure to have on hand before you install this kit's gonna be a couple of microfiber towels just to prep your dash before you put these on here, a squeegee which is gonna come with this kit, as well as a small water bottle with a little bit of soap in there. Now, the water is gonna be essentially so that you're gonna spray just a little bit of it, but you don't need to have this dripping. Now, that's gonna mean so you can position this around your dash as well as not having to fight the product. Now I will add, that's gonna be a great idea to have either a hair dryer or a heat gun on hand to do this as well, but I would make really sure that you're not gonna have either/or too close to the vinyl as it might damage the material. Now if you haven't done anything like this before, I would personally suggest starting with some of the smaller pieces of vinyl as they have a tendency to be a little bit of pain in the rear ends. Now, I say start with the small pieces because they're gonna be that much more manageable as opposed to some of the larger pieces. But once you get one on, you're gonna have a pretty decent idea how these are gonna apply. And again, a very solid one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and about an hour's worth of labor to get this onto your car.So just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts. If you're the owner of a 2010 through 2014 Mustang, especially a blue one at that, you're looking to incorporate a ton of modern flair into your cabin, as well as turn some heads, have a conversation point or even rack up some points at your local car show, this is gonna be the perfect kit for you. But, again, I do wanna mention that if blue is not your thing or if you don't have a blue car, we've got a ton of different options out there and that's gonna range from a red to a standard carbon fiber to a brushed look, or even a honeycomb look. At the end of the day, it's gonna come down to your personal taste and how you're looking to modify your Mustang. So that's my quick review and breakdown for the Blue Carbon Fiber Dash Kit for your 2010 through 2014 Mustang, available right here at americanmuscle.com.
