BBK 73mm Throttle Body Intake (96-04 Mustang GT)

No Tune Required. This BBK Power Plus Series 73mm Throttle Body Intake is designed to improve the performance of your GT without the need of reprogramming your Mustang's computer. The engineers at BBK really did their homework to improve your Pony's power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Throttle Body.

Quality Construction. This BBK Mustang Throttle Body Intake is CNC machined from high quality 356 aluminum to ensure OEM quality and a perfect fit. Features like OEM die stamped throttle linkages, double sealed bearings, and o ringed throttle shafts make this throttle body one of best on the market today. This BBK Performance Throttle Body is completed in charcoal wrinkle powder coated finish for impressive under hood styling.

Simple Bolt-On Installation. BBK engineered their Throttle Body Intake to be a simple bolt-on upgrade without the use of a new TPS Bushing, featuring brand new linkage there is no additional modifications required. Installation can be completed in under an hour with simple hand tools.

CARB Certification. This BBK Power Plus Series Throttle Body is CARB certified under EO Number D-245-26 for the 1999-2004 model year, therefore it is legal for use in California or any other state adopting California emission standards. Please note, this item is not CARB Certified for the 1996-1998 model years.

Application. This BBK Power Plus Series 73mm Throttle Body Intake is specifically designed to fit the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs equipped with the 2V 4.6L Modular V8 engine.
