Comp Cams Stage 4 Xtreme Energy 236/240 Hydraulic Roller Camshafts (96-04 Mustang GT)

Hot Street Cam. If you're looking to get more power out of your SOHC 4.6L then consider a set of Comp Cams XE274H Camshafts. They will give you great mid-range power gains in both horsepower and torque.

Maximize the power from your new camshafts with a set of Adjustable Cam Gears, which will allow you the ability to fine tune your camshaft timing - a critical necessity when doing mods that can change your camshaft-to-crankshaft centerline position. Application. This SOHC Camshaft is designed for 1996-2004 4.6L two valve V8 Mustangs with 3.55 or 3.73 rear gears and a 2000 plus stall speed converter on automatic transmissions. Recommended for use with 4.6 two valve V8 mustangs with intake, exhaust, custom tuned computer, and valve spring upgrades.

Technical Note: Comp Cams are designed for modified cars that include upgraded valve springs for clearance related issues. It is recommended to use COMP Cams® 26113 Valve Springs for proper fitment, see drop down option above. Combine the valve springs with a new set of valve spring steel retainers to handle the higher pressures developed by the springs.
