      Description

      Required For Steel Roller Cams. One of the first requirements when installing a new steel roller cam in your Mustang is the addition of a bronze distributor gear. The stock cast iron gear is not compatible with a steel camshaft and can cause serious damage.

      Superior Quality. Precision machined from AMPCO-45 extruded aluminum bronze with 5% nickel added for extra strength, this Comp Cams distributor drive gear features a high-strength tooth design that resists wear even when used with high pressure oil pumps.

      Application. This Comp Cams Bronze Distributor Drive Gear is designed for 1986 to 1995 Mustangs with either the 5.0L or 5.8L V8 engine and a steel roller camshaft.
