This lightweight, one-piece carbon fiber Drive Shaft will reduce unwanted weight for quicker elapsed times at the drag strip allowing you to easily beat all comers.
Light Weight. The Driveshaft Shop's One Piece Carbon Fiber Mustang Driveshaft is much lighter and stronger than the factory 2-piece driveshaft (18 lbs versus 39 lbs). This lighter Driveshaft greatly reduces rotating mass to improve your Pony's 0-60 and 1/4-mile track times.
Superior Quality and Construction. The DriveShaft Shop manufactures their Shafts from 3.25" diameter High Modulus one-piece carbon fiber tubing for superior torsional strength. This Driveshaft features a 1350 front u-joint with flange that mounts directly to the transmission. While outback a 28 spline 108mm 6-bolt rear CV joint made from an all new 300M material mounts to the differential.
Extra Clearance. This light weight one-piece carbon fiber Driveshaft features a narrower 3.25" diameter design. This slimmer layout will allow for the extra clearance needed to avoid interference that can happen on lowered Mustangs equipped with a 4" shaft.
High Speed Balanced. The Driveshaft Shop balances their Driveshaft’s at up to 9500RPM (revolutions per minute), on one of the most sophisticated balancing machines in the industry. This Driveshaft Shop One Piece Carbon Fiber Driveshaft is rated for use on applications making up to 900 horsepower.
One Year Limited Warranty. The DriveShaft Shop warrants all of its drive shafts for a period of 12 months as measured from the date of initial retail purchase. Drive shafts are covered for repair only, and only within the covered period. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for details.
Application. This One-piece Carbon Fiber Driveshaft from The Driveshaft Shop is designed specifically for use on 2011 to 2014 GT and BOSS Mustangs equipped with either a 6-speed Manual or Automatic transmission.
