      Description

      Upgrade or Replace. Whether you're rebuilding your 8.8" Traction-LOK rear or installing new gears, this kit from Ford Racing is what you need to do the job right. Make your differential perform even better than it did from the factory with this kit.

      Basic Kit for 28 or 31-Spline. This Ford Racing Basic Rebuild Kit is designed to be used with either 28-spline or 31-spline differentials and includes the clutch pack, shims, a bottle of friction modifier, one differential pin lock bolt with thread lock pre-applied, and an instruction sheet so you'll have everything you need.

      Application.       This Ford Racing Traction-LOK Rebuild Kit is designed for use with 1986-2004 Mustangs equipped with a 8.8in solid rear axle, including the LX 5.0, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994-1998 SVT Cobra models.

      Please Note: The 1999-2004 SVT Cobras, as well as 2005-2014 V8 Mustangs, were originally equipped with carbon discs. AmericanMuscle recommends part# M-4700-C for these models.
