      Reduce Coolant Pressure. A Heater Core Flow Restrictor as the name suggest restricts the flow of engine coolant to help reduce pressure and the chance of a premature heater core failure. Heater hose restrictors were featured as original factory equipment on 1996-2004 4.6L Mustangs and can be installed on 1979-1995 models for peace of mind.
