100% New; High-Torque Starter. This Ford Performance High-Torque Mini Starter is 100% Brand New, not re-manufactured like other companies sell and is tested at the time of assembly. Featuring a high-output motor with internal gear reduction, this High-Torque Mini Starter has much more cranking power than the stock starter.
Compact Design. Ford Performance engineered their High-Torque Starter with a compact mini design that provides additional clearance making it perfect for aftermarket header installs. This mini starter not only saves on room, but also saves on weight too as it only weighs 6 lbs.
Legendary Ford Performance Quality. When you're adding new performance parts to your Pony, you can't go wrong by installing parts from the folks that know it best. Ford Performance's legendary quality ensures a perfect fit and years of hassle-free use.
Application. This Ford Performance High-Torque Mini Starter is designed for use with Modular V8's including the 4.6L, 5.0L, 5.4L and 5.8L engine.
Technical Note. Must use diode protected fender well solenoid when used in non-production applications. The included cables with the Starter is intended for custom builds. For stock applications, you would re-use the factory cables.
