Ford Racing now offers mechanical throttle bodies for those who want to run a late model supercharged Shelby GT500 engine with an aftermarket ECU that requires the use of mechanical linkage. Ford Racing mechanical throttle bodies make the conversion to an aftermarket ECU much easier.

Required Upgrade. This Ford Racing Mechanical Super Cobra Jet Throttle Body requires the use of an aftermarket engine control system and is not to be used with the factory drive-by-wire ECU system.

Application. This Ford Racing Mechanical Super Cobra Jet Throttle Body is specifically designed for use on the supercharged 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 and 2008-2012 Cobra Jet models that are using an aftermarket engine control system.

Technical Note. The throttle cable and cable stop plate are not included and must be custom fabricated.
