      Description

      Turns Off Dash Light. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on your 2010-2014 Mustang is a great safety feature that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit. However, if you decide to bolt-on a new set of rims without these sensors installed you will be constantly reminding that they are missing with an annoying dash light. In some states a TPMS warning light can be cause for a failed inspection. This Ford Racing TPMS Sensors and Activation Tool Kit makes it possible to install new sensors into your new rims and sync them to your Mustang's computer there by eliminating that annoying dash light.

      TPMS Transmitter Tool. Ford Racing's TPMS Transmitter is used to sync the new sensors to your cars computer after you have installed them into your S197 Mustang's wheels. The syncing process is easy , simply point the transmitter at the wheel, push the button, listen for your car's horn and move to the next tire.

      Kit Contents. This Ford Racing TPMS Kit comes complete for use on all four wheels and includes 4 Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors and 1 TPMS Transmitter Tool. This kit makes it easy to switch between your stock rims and aftermarket rims at will. This kit is ideal for those that run different wheels in the winter and in the summer. The TPMS Transmitter Tool can be purchased separately if you already have your sensors

      Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors, it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors. By rotating your tires, you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your car's computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.

      Application. This Ford Racing TPMS Sensors and Activation Tool Kit is specifically designed for use on 2010 to 2014 Mustangs including the V6, GT, BOSS and Shelby GT500 models.
