Hey, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with my review of Raxiom's LED Halo Black Projector headlights for 2005 through 2009 GT and V6 Mustangs. These headlights are going to be for the Mustang owners that are interested in changing up the looks of the front end of their S197 or replacing some dated-looking headlights. I'd say that these headlights have an updated, modern styling and there are a few things that are going to make them different than both the factory lights and other aftermarket options out there. The basic gist here is a black housing, clear lenses, a projector-style light, and LED halo and accent lighting that really stand out against the black housing. I think that the halos create a totally different look for your Mustang. And these headlights even have the white LEDs on the side to make the lights stand out even more. Another nice thing here is that these headlights come with new high- and low-beam bulbs, the quick splice connectors that you can use for the install. The headlights are going to cost just over $200 and the only downside I see here is that these are not meant for Mustangs that have daytime running lights or any kind of aftermarket or factory HID kit. When it comes to the install, you can expect to spend about two hours and I'm going to call this a two-out-of-three wrenches because you are looking at pulling off your front fascia and wiring in your new LEDs. You can quick splice in your new headlights if you want to, but I'd recommend just soldering them in instead. You won't need anything out of the ordinary other than a soldering gun and some solder for your wire splicing, but I'd also suggest you make sure you have some heat shrink too, no matter which way you wire in your new headlights. So overall, we have a headlight for the '05 to '09 owners that are looking to change up the looks of the older S197 and give it a little bit of what I call a modern and different styling. You can check these out more online for yourself, and for all things Mustang, keep it right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
