Hey, I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and this is my quick review and breakdown of the Lund SX Elite Series four-piece fender flare fit in textured finish, fitting the 2004 through 2008 F-150. In this video, I'm gonna break down the construction and materials used for these fender flares, who these might appeal to, what you should expect to be spending, and then lastly we're gonna hit the installation. But right off the bat, I'm giving these a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty scale, and you should have these on your truck in about one to two hours, tops. These are gonna be great for the truck owner that's either running an aftermarket wheel and tire or suspension kit, or even a factory wheel and tire or suspension kit, and is also looking to add that little bit of extra flare to the sides of your truck and make it pop. Now, these are not only gonna be great in the looks department but they're actually gonna be protecting the sides of your truck from anything that you may come across either on or off road. Another great thing about these fender flares is that some of the other trucks do have a tendency to rust up a little bit. So, for a small price, you can definitely cover these up as well as making the sides of your truck look that much better all at the same time. Diving into the construction here, we're gonna see that Lund has these predominantly comprised of a tough yet durable ABS plastic material. Now this is definitely gonna be the preferred material if you're looking to do some light off-roading as well as protect the sides of your truck. Now, we're gonna see that they're then gonna finish this off in a very nice black textured finish, which, in my opinion, is gonna mesh very well with the factory trim on the F-150. Now, if the textured finish isn't something that you're gonna like that much, we do have a smooth option that's on site as well, and you can also have these painted at a body shop. Another great aspect about this kit is that these are gonna be heat and UV resistant, so you can rest easy knowing that these are gonna be able to hold up over time, just as long, if not longer, than the lifespan of your truck. Taking a quick look at the pricing here, you should expect to be spending right around 370 bucks for this set. While I know they're definitely not the least expensive option out there for the '04 through '08 F-150, you're gonna be getting away with a quality constructed tough part that's not only gonna be looking good and making the sides of your truck pop but you're actually gonna be protecting your investment all at the same time. Taking a look at the installation here just like I had said in the beginning of the video, you're gonna be looking at a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and about one to two hours, tops, to get these onto your truck. The installation alone is definitely a very large selling point for me, as there's not going to be any type of drilling, cutting or modification required for these. These are a tried and true bolt on install, which means that they're going to install with basically just a socket set, Phillips head screwdriver and a little bit of elbow grease. Again, all in all, one to two hours and a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty scale to get these onto your truck. All right, so just to wrap things up here, I definitely like this option from Lund, not only based on the fact that they make a quality product but because you're gonna be accentuating the looks of your F-150 and making it pop that much nicer, as well as adding a huge touch of aggressiveness to it all while not breaking the bank. All right, so that's my detailed review and breakdown of the Lund Elite Series SX-Sport style fender flares in textured, fitting your 2004 through 2008 Styleside F-150, available right here at americanmuscle.com.
