RAM Clutches Powergrip HD Metallic Clutch Kit; 23-Spline (11-17 Mustang GT; 12-13 Mustang BOSS 302)

Street or Strip. Powergrip HD sets are the ultimate for extreme street/strip Mustang performance. If you're replacing your clutch, it is also a good idea to replace or resurface your flywheel at the same time to prolong the life of your new Clutch.

Superior Design. RAM Powergrip HD Mustang Clutch kits utilizes a proprietary 900 series friction material in conjunction with increased clamp load pressure plates, you get maximum holding power for track or street, with only minimal reduction in drivability.

Application. The RAM Powergrip HD Clutch kits are the performance clutch for big power street/strip Mustangs. The Powergrip HD Mustang Clutch is designed for the 2011-2017 GT and Boss 302 with the MT-82 transmission. Some chatter will occur on takeoff. Use only with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheels.

It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

Technical Note. Use only with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion resistant) flywheels. It is strongly recommended to install a new flywheel with this replacement clutch - please view our flywheel page for the RAM billet steel replacements.
