Hey, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com and this is my review of this rear seat delete kit for Fastback 2015 and '16 Mustangs in black. Now this is lightweight, which it's supposed to be, so as far as materials, this kit has a thin piece of ABS plastic here and here, but honestly that's exactly what I expected. You aren't putting in new rear seats here and these aren't made to be sat on. They're as lightweight as they possibly can be, which is good, and they give a really clean look. So as long as you aren't expecting something that a grown adult can sit on and you are expecting something simple, lightweight and clean, then you're on the same page as this product. So the cool thing about this kit is while you probably could gather some materials and make a form of this kit for yourself, buying this kit as a completed product takes all of the hassle out of your hands, especially if you don't have the tools, or know-how, or even the time to create this. The kit does cost just under 300 bucks, but after looking at this thing here and sticking around for the install, which I can touch upon in a minute, I think this is well worth the price. Going back to the install, while this is a simply constructed product, I did expect it to install properly and cleanly and with no issues. Just because the general idea and materials behind the seat delete are simple doesn't mean that they should install like junk, and I can tell you that it did install very nicely. Everything lined up well and it actually fits nicely, in my opinion. This is a one out of three wrenches on the scale, but the install can be a little bit time-consuming. You're looking at about two hours and most of the time is spent pulling out your stock seats, and the anchors, and the seat belts, things like that. The only other thing I can say about the fitment is that if this were mine, I'd probably run some double-sided Velcro in the corners on the bottom here and here. The only thing holding these pieces down are these pins in the middle here, so the sides are a little loose for me. Other than that, I really dig this kit. So overall, we have a rear seat delete that is as lightweight as possible, really has a good fit, and it matches the rest of the interior well, so you're looking at some nice end results. Check this thing out for yourself on the site, and I'm Stephanie and we'll see you next time at AmericanMuscle.com.
