Hey, I'm Alex from AmericanMuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you my quick review and breakdown of the Roush High Flow Upper Grille, fitting your 2013 and 2014 Mustang GT and V6. So in this video, I'm gonna give you a quick idea of the construction and materials that went into this grille, what you should expect to be paying, who this might appeal to, and then last but not least, we're gonna hit the installation. But right off the bat, guys, you're going to be looking at a very easy, one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and about an hour to get this onto your Mustang. So this grille is gonna appeal to the 2013 and 2014 Mustang owner that's not really too fond about just how bland the front end of your car looks, and that wants to make a very bold and aggressive statement from a brand like Roush, that's known to not only make some really incredible cars but parts as well. So this grille's not only gonna turn heads, be it on the track or your daily commute, but I personally guarantee that whenever you're walking away from your car you're definitely gonna turn around and get a good look at it. Additionally, from an aesthetic's perspective, you're actually going to be picking up a bit of improved airflow. Roush's five bar design, right here, is actually going to help channel more air under your hood and hit your radiator, so you're gonna be performing a little bit better. So, something else I definitely like about this grille is that if your Mustang came equipped with fog lights in your center grille, this is essentially going to delete them, which in my opinion gives you a little bit more of a menacing and sinister look. Now, if you do want to retain those fog lights, you definitely can do so, but you're probably going to need to mount up a little bit of a bracket behind them, and then either you can space them in the center or out towards the sides. So, taking a quick look at the construction and materials here. If you've ever seen a Roush in person, you're probably familiar with just how well-built their cars are, and this grille is going to be just like that as it's gonna be comprised of some of the best materials out there today. So the grille itself here is gonna be manufactured from injection-molded ABS plastic, which is also gonna be utilizing CAD data directly from Ford to ensure that you're going to have a perfect finish on your 2013-2014. So additionally we're going to see the grille's gonna be finished off in a black texturized stipple finish, which in my opinion is going to mesh very well with both light and dark colored cars. So, depending on where your build's gonna be taking you, be it a chrome theme or kind of a sleeper theme, this is gonna offset that very nicely either which direction you're going to be going for. After that, this is actually gonna be used to ensure that it does not pit or fade over time, so you can rest easy knowing this is gonna hold up in regards to any type of exposure to weather, or anything else you're gonna be coming across on the roads. So, in terms of the pricing here guys, you should expect to be spending right around 200 bucks for this upper replacement grille. And I gotta be honest, for a Roush product, I think that is a steal. Again, you're gonna be getting some head-turning menacing looks with a unique five bar design. Additionally, you're gonna be improving your airflow to your radiator, upwards of 40%. For the money here, again, I think this is a huge bargain as, if you're gonna shop this in comparison with some of the other options out there, you're going to see that they could easily top the scales north of even $400 or $500. So, digging into the installation here, I'm gonna give you a quick, abridged version on exactly how you're gonna need to get this on, but there might be a couple steps omitted here. But Roush is gonna have you covered as the install info that's gonna come with this is definitely to the point and it's not gonna leave any guesswork on the table. So you're gonna need to start by pulling your rad cover and then you're gonna need to loosen up a couple bolts that are gonna be in your wheel wells in order to remove your front fascia. After this, you're then gonna need to pull the air deflector, which is then gonna give you access to the bumper itself, where you can then move on to the next step here. So once that's done essentially all you need to do is remove the factory grille from the bumper and replace it with this one, and you're good to go. It honestly could not be any easier, as you're not gonna have to do any type of cutting or modification to your mustang, as this is gonna come supplied with a couple clips here, and it's really a no-brainer installation. All right so just to wrap things up, some final thoughts on this grille from Roush here. I definitely like this option, not only based on the fact that these guys have been around for quite some time, they make a really great looking car, and all of their other parts here are built to spec with some of the best materials out there available. And not only will you be getting some sinister looks but you're actually gonna be improving your airflow up to 40% to your radiator, which at the end of the day's gonna make your Mustang perform that much more effectively. So that's my quick review and breakdown for the Roush High Flow Upper Grille, fitting your 2013 and 2014 Mustang GT and V6, available right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
